Entry Fees: $140.00 - Entry fee includes green fees for the three days (if cut is made), Entry also includes administrative cost, Junior Golf Support and awards. Entry does not include golf cart. Entries close on Friday August 28, 2009. No refunds after this date. Those seeking refunds prior to August 21st should contact Dewey Sutton, Tournament Director at (916) 987-1449. Do not call the golf shop for refunds! Field is limited to the first 144 players. Submission of an entry form indicates willingness on the part of the player to abide by the rules and decisions of the Tournament Committee. There will be a $20.00 service charge on all returned checks.
Eligibility: This tournament is open to amateur golfers age 18 and older, who are members of an organized golf club with a current 2009 handicap between 5 and 20. In Accordance With the USGA rule 33-1 and 10-3/E the SGC has the authority to adjust a handicap based on tournament scores. Entries that exceed the maximum 20 strokes, must agree to play at the 20 maximum handicap allowed.
Format: 54 holes of stroke play over a three-day period. The field will be divided into flights commensurate with total entry. The field will be reduced by approximately 50% after day two. Those making the 36-hole cut play 18 holes on the final day, |
